I am an American photographer and writer living on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I published my first book, Body / Sol, in 2018, and am now working on a new book, First Light: Cape Cod Oystermen, and a couple of essays that may or may not become zines or books: Land’s End: Outer Cape Cod and The Cross and Its Shadow. I am working toward developing a body of photographic work (personal, documentary, fine art, etc.) that, to the viewer, brings to life and makes real the bridge between man and the natural world; this is what I am most interested in. And, what better place to explore this relationship than Cape Cod, where aquaculture, the ocean, marshland, conservation, and increasing human population all intersect.
